"I first met Florin Olteanu when my friend suggested that I attend his gym, Fit and Healthy, as a way to get my balance and my strength back after a serious car crash in which I had broken my neck.
I visited the gym with her and after Flo did all the tests and decided what we could do in the way of exercises I started working out.
I found the sessions very helpful. Also I had a good time which is very important.
The three sessions per week that we decided on put me on the path not of recovery but sustainment. I know I won’t recover but as we always say, the program is keeping me fit and healthy.
In 2014 another operation has left me a little less mobile than previously and so we have made more adjustments.
The years have progressed and also the program has changed to fit my new reality.
This is an important part of the Fit and Healthy program for handicapped people.
It works with what you have - whether you are handicapped like me or older - also like me.
I would recommend Fit and Healthy to anyone but especially to those who have had an accident and who think a physical program of actives is not for them"

"Chronic knee pain from old injuries and arthritis made it painful for me to stand or walk any distance and I couldn’t bend my knees enough to ride my bike or get into or out of my kayak, depriving me of one of my favourite summer activities.
A good friend had been on my case to join Fit & Healthy Centre and work with their trainers. She has been training with Flo for years and it has helped her mobility. I was reluctant since my last experience working out with a personal trainer at a gym had ended badly – injuring my right knee again.
I was tired of feeling older than I am, so I called Fit & Healthy and made an appointment to meet with Flo, who was very encouraging. I started a training program with Ben Graham and slowly but surely we’ve increased the range of motion in my knees by strengthening my muscles. Ben had to gain my confidence, but he succeeded, as he is always able to explain why we are doing a specific exercise or what goal we are working towards.
I’ve been working out with Ben twice a week for almost one year now. This summer, not only could I go for long walks and ride my bike, I was able to get back in my kayak and enjoy the wonderful waterways around Windsor and Essex County. In fact, I even tried Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and was able to stand on my first attempt!
My work out regimen has had other benefits too: my BMI has improved, I’ve lost 20 lbs, and my measurements have shrunk 6 inches!"

"It all started 4 months ago, when I read a medical report and noticed that it said I was a candidate for bariatric surgery...well, 'nough said! After my initial consultation with Flo, I felt very confident that he would be a very strong mentor in assisting me reach my goals.
